Practical Support

Welcoming you to well equipped treatment rooms is part of our support, as is tailoring services to meet your needs. An example is offering out of hours appointments, early morning, or during the evening.

If nursing care is required at your accommodation, we can provide details of trusted nursing agencies. Should sleeping facilities be required for parents at a hospital where a child is staying, they can be arranged.

If an interpreter is requested and notice is given, we will help to organise this, through an agency compliant with the Data Protection Act 2018.

Should a patient, or their family have special requirements, our staff will try to assist. Taking care of practical needs helps reduce stress for patients, a useful contribution to their treatment and recovery.

Medical Facilities

Private consultation rooms are provided for all patients. If you wish family members, or friends to sit in, they are welcome to do so.

The team of consultants at Harley Street Maxillofacial are leaders in their field and happy to share knowledge where this helps. Support staff are also amongst the best and dedicated to their patients.

Our clinic has in house operating facilities for day surgery. Where procedures require local anaesthesia, or sedation, this is provided by one of our consultant anaesthetists.

For cases requiring a hospital stay, we have admission rights at private London Hospitals. This includes The Wellington, who offer excellent facilities.

Regulatory Compliance

Our consultants and support staff are registered with relevant professional bodies, in most cases, they are also members of specialist organisations.

Bodies such as the General Medical Council and General Dental Council set standards for their members, as do the specialist organisations. The UK is one of the safest places in the world to seek medical care.

The UK government regulator for our clinic is The Care Quality Commission. We meet their requirements, alongside medical regulation, you are welcome to see more details on our regulatory environment.

Going The Extra Mile

Finding the best people to treat you is a sound start, although getting well can involve more. You need to have confidence in treatment, which you instinctively recognise as focused on your case.

Every member of our team appreciates the value this offers and knows each patient who comes to us is unique. Medical procedures may be in place for good reason but personal support should be truly individual.

If you require any further information on levels of care, or medical regulation, please contact us. You will find our staff are friendly, helpful and used to supporting a range of personal needs.
