Practice Manager | Harley Street Maxillofacial Clinic
Katie has managed the Harley Stret Maxillofacial Clinic since 2012, following similar management experience in the NHS, along with private medical and orthodontic facilities.
With a Diploma in Business Administration and professional development training, Katie is well qualified for a post which is important to our patients.
The consultants at our clinic are leaders in their field, their time devoted to patients and providing the best current, or future treatment. Katie’s task is to ensure that treatment is delivered well, in an environment which inspires confidence.
Our nursing staff play a key part in patient care and are themselves skilled professionals. The supportive management and training Katie provides helps to ensure they are comfortable in and well suited to their role.
Alongside personnel, developing and overseeing efficient appointment systems brings benefit to patients, or clinicians. The same applies to accurate record keeping and easy access to up to date notes.
Katie helps to develop strategies for the practice computer systems, making sure they are fit for purpose, secure and adaptable. Medical services do and should change to match clinical developments.
Managing finances, payroll, ordering and invoicing are equally useful aspects of practice management. Part of Katie’s core role, ensuring everything is in place for those who visit our clinic.
As importantly, Katie enjoys meeting patients and believes in listening to their views. However good a clinic may be, there is no such thing as a service which can’t be improved and this often comes from an objective view.
Practice management is a blend of healthcare management, strategic planning and customer service, with the latter of those leading the way.
Our patients should feel assured of the finest treatment from the moment they arrive, appointments should be timely, facilities first rate. Katie’s skill and focus make this reality, contributing to successful medical care.
