Sarah has practiced as a Harley Street orthodontist for 15 years. Equally happy to help a young person achieve their perfect smile, or work as part of a maxillofacial surgical team, to change patients lives.
After graduating as a dental surgeon in 1990, from King’s College Hospital, University of London, Sarah spent two years in practice before returning to a hospital environment.
Specialist training followed, including positions in children’s dentistry and key posts in oral & maxillofacial surgery. Sarah obtaining a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1995.
Four further years of academic study and clinical training came next. With the Eastman Dental Institute, a world leading centre, which is part of University College London.
The first year saw Sarah awarded a Master of Science with Distinction and a Diploma in Dental Public Health, from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Appointed as a Specialist Registrar in Orthodontics, Sarah spent three years in post. A further Master of Science degree was awarded in 2000, for her research into facial muscle molecular biology.
Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of England soon followed. Along with an entry on the Specialist List in Orthodontics of the General Dental Council.
An exceptional academic background and fine dental skills are a good combination to serve patients. Matched by Sarah’s belief in a relaxed treatment environment and her ability to put patients at ease.
Both adults and children are welcome, to access a range of treatment. Traditional braces are available where most effective, as are more aesthetic options, including Clarity ceramic brackets, Invisalign and Incognito lingual braces.
