Plastic Surgery Procedures
A range of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures are available at the clinic, each tailored to the individual needs of our patients.
Skin Cancer Reconstruction
Following the removal of skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, or melanoma, plastic surgery can help repair the affected area.
Techniques used are normally skin grafts, where skin is transplanted from another area, and local flaps, where nearby tissue is repositioned.
Facial Trauma Repair
In cases of facial injury, surgery may be required to repair fractures of the jaw, cheekbone, or eye socket or facial nerve damage.
Removal of Jaw Tumours & Cysts
Benign or malignant tumours and cysts in the jaw can affect bone, soft tissue, and tooth position. Treatment often requires surgical removal of the lesion, which can leave a defect in the jawbone or surrounding tissue.
Depending on the extent of surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery may involve bone grafting (using the patient’s own bone or synthetic material), free flap reconstruction or soft tissue repair.
Jaw Disorders
Plastic surgery is offered to help correct issues with the jaw, that can affect biting, chewing speaking and even breathing. This may include repositioning the upper or lower jaw to bring them into better alignment. The results are not only functional, but can also bring greater facial balance and confidence.
For some people, procedures such as chin reshaping or subtle facial contouring are also part of the treatment plan, especially where there’s visible asymmetry. Our goal is to restore natural proportion, comfort, and long-term stability.
